University of the Caribbean - Accreditation
The University of the Caribbean was established and incorporated as 'University of the Caribbean S.A.' in the British Virgin Islands, a British Overseas Territory under the sovereignty of the UK. The institution functions with full legal authority and accepts students worldwide.
In addition, our degree programs have been reviewed and are validated by the Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica | UNEM, which began its operation in 1992 as the International Post-Graduate School, in affiliation with the University of San Jose. It later became known as Universidad Empresarial, receiving approval of its charter from the Consejo Nacional de Enseñanza Superior Universitaria Privada (CONESUP) of the Costa Rican Ministry of Education in 1997. Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica is listed with UNESCO.
Students completing their degree program with UOC are eligible for a duel degree from UNEM without further academic requirements. (This is subject to an additional fee).
